Ambassador Koby Komsoon address Delegates at the MEDA-USA 2006 Annual Convention

    Ambassador Koby Koomson

The former United States Ambassador to Ghana Mr.Koby Koomson was on hand to attend the Moghamo Cultural Night celebrations and to address delegates at the MEDA-USA 10th Annual Convention taking place in Washington DC. As a personal representative of Washington DC Mayor Anthony A. Williams, Mr. Koomson extended the mayors’ apologies for not being able to attend this event because of a schedule conflict.

Ambassador Koomson commended MEDA-USA for sticking to its roots and for making an effort to assert itself and partner with City of Washington DC. He noted that is the way to go, and the sure way of getting the attention and support of the City in our development initiatives. He advised MEDA-USA should send a capable and assertive representative to the Mayor’s Commission on African Affairs meetings which MEDA was only too happy to do.

MEDA-USA thanks Ambassador Koomson and the city of Washington DC for taking time to be with us. Ambassador Koby Koomson is the Chairman of the Mayor’s Commission on African Affairs.
